I cannot believe it is already September… time if flying! Summer is almost over and I have to admit, I am really excited about fall. September is my birthday month (am I really turning 32?!) and, it is also national Honey Month! Did you know that? I thought I celebrate with this extremely moist and tasty Honey Coconut Bundt Cake. I have to say that this cake was a total experiment but I hit the jackpot! It is unbelievably moist and soft thanks to coconut milk and honey, and, I think coconut and honey is one of my new flavor combos. Sooo good. Jackpot….
Lemon cakes are some of my all time favorite cakes. Loaf, tarte or bundt, I take them all! This Ricotta Lemon Bundt Cake with Zucchini is the latest addition to my lemon cake recipe repertoire. You might think: zucchini? Wait, what? Yes! While zucchini and chocolate almost became a staple by now let me tell you, this combo…. It really just makes this cake so dense and moist, enhancing the flavor of them lemon….
I m so excited the christmas season is finally approaching! I just can’t wait. So I kicked off my christmas baking a littler sooner than last year and as usual, with something gingerbread. Last year, I started the season with these Gingerbread Petits Fours and this year I am gushing over this Honey Gingerbread Bundt Cake….
How I love bundt cakes! Pure and simple, nothing but moist cake. And they look so ridiculously cute! This toffee bundt cake is slightly soaked in mandarin sirup. The mandarin goes so well with the rich toffee flavor of the cake and gives it a fruity and summery taste. Of course, the mandarin soak is optional since the cake tastes super delicious on its own! Actually, try this recipe and soak the cake in rum or coffee for the colder seasons. Possibilities are endless!
Happy Easter everyone! Spring is in the air and I am celebrating not just one of my favorite holidays but the beginning of my ambassadorship for Challenge Dairy! Whoop! So I went ahead and used Unsalted Challenge Butter to make this incredibly springlike and super easy Pistachio Vanilla Butter Bundt Cake. Perfect for any Easter brunch, spring picnic or tea party!
Believe it or not, it has actually been raining all week here in Dallas. It might still be summer (and of course, hot) but the rainy grey sky put me in the mood for something comforting and cozy. There was this “Kentucky Bourbon Bundt Cake” recipe in one of my favorite baking books, [easyazon_link asin=”1607741024″ locale=”US” new_window=”default” tag=”sugbut02-20″]Vintage Cakes by Julie Richardson[/easyazon_link], that I’ve been wanting to make. I love buttermilk bundt cakes, so buttermilk bundt cake with bourbon? Perfect! I just made a few small changes, switched the glaze and the result were these moist little Bourbon Bundt Cakes. You can really taste the Bourbon and the flavor is just full and – well, comforting.
